My name is Mackenzie, and I am a writer, blogger, voracious reader, self-proclaimed lover of all things whimsical, and devourer of fairy tales living in the Middle Of Nowhere Michigan!
My love for the written word started when I was young. Reading never came naturally to me–in fact, I struggled a lot. My mom (hi, mom!) likes to joke that she tried a little too hard when teaching me to read, because now you’re lucky to find me without my nose in a book! Ever since that fateful day when the words finally clicked, books became my passion. I love writing them. I love reading them. And I also love helping other writers find their voice to tell stories of their own.
Through this blog, I share my writing projects, as well as tips and tricks for new and aspiring writers. I dive deep into the books I’ve been reading–both new reads and old favorites–and share with you the simple joys of story.
